Hello, my name is Andrea Girolami. I am a journalist and digital content specialist. For almost 20 years I have been making videos and multimedia content suitable for different platforms: tv, on-air or online, web magazines and independent shows in Italy and abroad.

I fell in love with the Internet at the end of the 90’s and while still at high school I started working for Tiscali, creating the pioneering audio podcast Loser.
After this, I moved to Milan to work as Music Coordinator for Qoob, a ground breaking multi-platform TV channel created by MTV Italy.
I also started working as an author and producer for new online video formats with the independent music show Pronti Al Peggio (produced by Endemol and Vitaminic).
I then expanded upon my journalistic skills joining Wired Italy’s newsroom for the following six years, setting up and running the whole video division.
As Head of Content for the Milan based digital agency Better Days I oversaw the agency’s publishing business and organized the first Better Days Festival (+5000 attendees).
I currently manage the Digital Content Development team at Mediaset Group creating new video formats based on current television shows or digital-first editorial projects.

In 2015 I wrote a book about digital culture: “Atlante delle cose nuove” published by Indiana editore.
