Back in a time when User Generated Content was emerging, Telecom Italia Media launched futuristic style projects through MTV: a mix of Myspace, YouTube, and Flickr, were all combined to create a social DTTV channel called Qoob.

Organising competitions for emerging video makers, and giving them the chance to make official short videos for famous singers and earn money. The programme resulted in a variety of videos such as one for Brazilian band Cansei De Ser Sexy which gained international fame, and for a short time became the most viewed video ever on YouTube.
